hi,
thanks for your component, but i think i found little glitch in latest version (0.1.6):
if “Filter invalid CUEs” is checked in preferences and you play something from the playback queue this shows in console (on every song or change):
ERROR: failed to remove items

Sorry, 2E7AH, but I really cannot reproduce this.
Maybe I should use any additional components like Playlist Queue Viewer or Queue Manager?
2E7AH on April 22nd, 2009 at 16:59
hi pieceofsummer,
it only happens in CUI not in default UI and also when “Filter referenced file” is checked besides “Filter invalid CUEs”
thanks

Still no clue. I’m using CUI (0.3.6.7) and all options are checked.
Steps:
1. I created a new playlist and added there a folder with ape+cue. Ape was filtered and there’s information in console about filtered items.
2. While playing the first song, I’ve right-clicked several random items and choosed “Add to Playback Queue” menu item. No messages in console.
3. I’ve waited for song playing changed. No messages in console. Then manually changed song with “Next” button – still no messages.
What I’m doing wrong?

here is console output when i check those options (before they were unchecked so that’s why repeated error outputs emerges):

what have i done:
1. as i said i checked those options in preferences
2. i add ordinar (without cue sheet) album to playback queue
3. i push play
i’m on vista sp1 with latest foobar (0.9.6.5b2) and cui (0.3.6.9) but i doubt that the versions play some role
pieceofsummer on April 22nd, 2009 at 17:58
Maybe I’m an idiot, but still could not get such behavior.
I’ve updated foobar and CUI to the latest versions, tried to queue albums both from file system and library, either mp3 or cue+image. No error messages in console.
Anyway, I have no idea how adding mp3 album could trigger a plugin to try filter something. It should process only “cue” sources and only if they have “referenced_file” value. Single mp3 track should fail both of these tests.
Well, I’ll publish a new version later (basically, it is complete code refactor without new features) and let’s see if the problem remains.
